Maine Upland Guide Service

Guided fly-fishing trips are one of our specialties! We can wade into the crystal-clear rivers and streams for coldwater species such as brook trout, browns, rainbows and landlocked salmon. We can also take our grand laker canoes, which are large, stable motor-driven craft that make great fishing platforms and get us into those "hard to reach" places. These boats are traditional to Maine waters and are a pleasure to fish from. 

Our boat trips are mostly for smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, pickerel and pike. We like to incorporate a shore lunch with those trips and cook your catch shoreside. In case you feel more comfortable with traditional spinning gear, you'll be happy to know that we have a full array of tackle for this type of fishing as well!

Our camp is on 57 acres in the Enchanted Pond Wilderness, with access to hundreds of thousands of acres for hunting and fishing. The camp is 8 miles off of the pavement in the heart of the covers and brook trout ponds. 

Guests stay in the main camp with the guides close by in the adjacent "grouse house." A new kennel building has been added this year as well! 

A cell booster, laundry facilities, bathroom with shower, woodstoves and comfortable beds make for a relaxed stay. We spend our evenings by the fire with a glass of good scotch or bourbon. Good food and lodging are very important to us!
